Lauren Underwood is a registered nurse and Obama Administration alum running for Congress in her hometown in northern Illinois. She has a long track record of successfully expanding access to health care locally and nationally and has seen first-hand the impact limited access to care and reproductive health services can have on communities. She knows her neighbors in the 14th district deserve better and is committed to serving them at home and representing them in Washington, DC.
Lauren has a bold vision that puts working families first, championing policies that would expand economic opportunities and support continued investment in public education. She is committed to providing authentic representation for her community, and as a millennial woman of a color, she will be in a unique position to provide a fresh perspective in Congress.
Her prospects for winning are strong, but she can’t do it without your support.
If you are in DC for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference, please join us in celebration of this Sister in Service at Lounge 201 to meet Lauren and learn more about how you can support her campaign.
Tickets are $100 and hosts levels begin at $500 (write or raise). Click here for more information.
